The Stories Behind The Swinging Doors

The Grease and Gossip Podcast - Real Stories. Real People. Real Restaurants.

I started in the restaurant industry in 1998 as a dishwasher, working my way through kitchens, dining rooms, and ownership.

Over the years, I've experienced just about every side of the business from the chaos of a Saturday night rush, to spending half of the money you made that night bar hopping after a crazy shift is over.

Eventually, I became an owner, starting a food truck and quick-service restaurants in sports arenas.

Later, I built a large community on Youtube helping more than one million people around the world learn how to start and grow their own food businesses through YouTube.

But through every chapter of my career, one thing never changed.

The stories.

The customer everyone still talks about.

The manager nobody could believe.

The cook who somehow held the whole place together.

The shift that went completely off the rails.

The moments that never make it onto the menu.

That's why I created The Grease & Gossip Podcast.

This isn't a business podcast.

It's a place where the people who keep restaurants running finally get to tell the stories customers were never supposed to hear.

So pull up a chair.
